Why Anodized Motorcycle Parts Fade
Motorcycle modification often uses colorful anodized aluminum parts. In high-temperature outdoor environments, ordinary anodized finishes may fade after roughly six months. Parts need to remain lightweight, visually consistent, and durable.
JeaSnn received an inquiry from a motorcycle modification supplier in Germany that needed a range of colorful, durable motorcycle accessories. The project required both metal-part manufacturing and a finishing solution for long-term outdoor exposure.
The parts are installed close to the motorcycle engine. Under high-load operation, temperatures commonly reach 120°C to 150°C and may be higher near the cylinder head, so heat resistance was also important.

Project Requirements
- High temperature resistance: The finish and base material must remain stable under high operating temperatures.
- Ultraviolet protection: The anodized color must resist fading during long-term outdoor use.

CNC Milling for a Clean Base Finish
JeaSnn reviewed the part designs and selected CNC milling. The process produced clean surfaces without visible tool marks and prepared the parts for anodizing.

UV Resistant Anodizing in Five Colors
The customer requested black, red, green, orange, and purple finishes. Standard anodizing was not expected to withstand the intended heat and outdoor exposure, so JeaSnn used UV resistant anodizing with color materials intended for outdoor applications.

Weathering Verification
Each production batch is checked with a UV Accelerated Weathering Tester before shipment. The equipment simulates ultraviolet exposure, humidity, and temperature changes to help evaluate fading and surface durability.

The combination of CNC milling, UV resistant anodizing, and weathering verification helps keep the finished motorcycle parts colorful under demanding outdoor conditions.
